I've been the founder
in the chaos.
I built a business and ran it straight into the ground. Not because I didn't care, because I never stopped long enough to build the foundation beneath it. What I know about operational strain, I learned the hard way.
More than a decade of operations. One season changed
everything.
THE BACKGROUND
I came up through corporate operations and customer service, the kind of work that teaches you how businesses actually function underneath the surface. I saw how decisions moved, where things slow down and what a system that genuinely holds looks like versus one that's held together by memory and goodwill.
Then I built my own business. A boutique. And I ran it the way most visionary founders run things: all in, all the time, building fast without stopping to build beneath it. Not because I didn't care about sustainability. Because I never got that far.
I burned out before I could.
That's when I understood what was actually missing. I was not missing ambition, not missing effort, not even missing the vision. It was infrastructure. The kind that holds the business up so the founder doesn't have to carry it all herself.
After that season, I went back to what I'd always been good at: working inside businesses, building operational foundations, and helping founders get out from under the weight of running everything alone. I worked inside other businesses and I kept building my own. And eventually, Stillroot became the thing I'd always been doing, it was just finally named and built around the truth I'd learned the hard way.

Operations isn't a back-office problem.

WHAT I BELIEVE
Most founders treat the backend as something to deal with later: after the next launch, the next hire, the next milestone. But the backend is what determines whether growth feels sustainable or suffocating. Whether momentum compounds or collapses under its own weight.
Stillroot exists around a simple belief: businesses grow best when they're rooted in clarity and supported by systems strong enough to hold what's coming next.
When the foundation finally catches up to the vision, something shifts. Decisions feel lighter and the team knows what to do. You stop holding everything together through sheer will, and the business starts holding itself.

Outside the work,
I'm a mom and a small business owner.
I understand what it means to build something that matters while also trying to show up for everything else that matters. That tension is real, and it's a big part of why I care so deeply about building businesses that support the life behind them, not consume it.
I'm based in the Midwest. I believe in calm over urgency, clarity over complexity, and doing the work right so you don't have to redo it six months from now.
And I genuinely love this work.
